The main UCAS deadline for equal consideration is on the 14th January 2026 (18:00 UK time) If you’ve missed the deadline, you’re not alone, and more importantly, you still have options.
While applying before the deadline gives applicants the best chance of getting multiple offers, UCAS continues to accept applications right up until end of June.
When is it actually too late?
It’s never too late, but after the equal consideration deadline in January, places will be offered first come first served so some courses may become full. The sooner you apply, the better. If you’re applying late, or didn’t get the offers you were hoping for, consider routes like UCAS Extra, UCAS Clearing, or applying directly to music schools like pointblank, which offers more flexibility.
